Christophe Sirugue, the secretary of state for industry, was in Charente-Maritime today to show his support for innovative businesses in the region.

The secretary of state for industry visited two companies: first stop Périgny, where he called on HCM SYSTREL, specialist in microelectronics in hi-tech sectors including implanted medical devices and the space industry.

He then made his way to the site of SELENIUM MEDICAL in La Rochelle, an industry leader in the field of packaging and surface treatments for medical devices. And the secretary of state had good news to unveil. He has approved the reindustrialisation subsidy request submitted by the company, worth 500,000 euros. This subsidy paves the way for the creation of around fifty jobs in the next two years.
