Hermeticity is ensured in cavity housings sealed by metal or glass seals.
To ensure the reliability of our customers’ products, we carry out all the tests required to verify hermeticity and the internal environment of the component cavity (internal gas analysis), as well as the qualification and aging procedures associated with market standards.
Tens of thousands of hermetic components are manufactured every year in our cleanroom to meet the requirements of the space, defense, aeronautics, oil drilling and underwater telecom industries.
For example, most European satellites currently in orbit include a component produced by SERMA Microelectronics.
